This week I found a lovely festival knit and a 50’s skirt

I have been shopping for thrifty stuff but I have been over worked so I have some photo’s to catch up on. Here is some of my recent hunting. I found this little hand knitted top in Saint Francis Hospice priced at £3.00. I just loved the fringe detail hanging from the triangles. Unfortunately it was a rather small size; about an 8-10 so I gave it to my sister. A great festival piece…

I also found this gorgeous 1950’s skirt. The bold flower print would be great with a black and white stripe piece on top. There is something about skirts with pockets that I can’t resist. When I try on a skirt and notice it has pockets for some reason I feel like I have this great added extra. This skirt was only £4.99 from Oxfam and was a size 10-12. The bag was vintage too and was priced at £2.99.
