The long green coat!

Two green related posts in a week! I found some beautiful vintage pieces in Oxfam in Winchester this week. This is one of the nicest charity shops I have been in. It’s like a little old fashioned cottage on a cobbled street. I have to admit it is more expensive in there but they have some and very unusual pieces. This was only a few bits, there was so much more but I didn’t want the ladies to throw me out! I found lots of vintage coats from the 1970’s. There was even a few 1940’s bits in there. They have a huge selection to look through so if you like a good rummage you will definitely find some interesting pieces in here. I loved this chenille knitted jumper, I remember having something like this a few years ago, it’s seriously soft and comfortable. I am going to wear it as a dress as it’s really long. The necklace was so cool. It looked handmade to me, possibly from abroad. It was a little metal man in a boat set into a mother of pearl sea. The fur coat is lovely, price at £30 which is reasonable for a vintage fur coat, these start at £50 in Camden, and go well over £100. The soft green leather 1970’s coat, a star find in my opinion. It was in perfect vintage condition also priced at £30.The sequin dress was 1960’s, I didn’t buy it as I already have something similar. Now I am regretting that.

Red chenille jumper £3.50, boatman necklace £3.00, Fur coat £30.00, Green leather coat £30.00, sequin dress £20, all vintage from Oxfam.
